    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join our team, working predominantly in the home counties.

    In this role you'll perform various air conditioning tasks, primarily in commercial environments across the education, public and private sectors.

    Ideally you will be someone who takes pride in delivering high quality service efficiently, safely and fully compliant with current regulations and industry standard's while exceeding customer expectation's.

    Duties

    Carry out planned and fault diagnostic works to various air conditioning system's and equipment such as split, VRV, VRF and heat pumps.
    Service and maintain AC systems, AHU's and HVR units.
    General mechanical repairs and routine PPM tests to HVAC equipment.
    Use of Mitsubishi and Daikin centralised controllers.
    Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    The role requires you to work at heights to fulfil this position.
    Ability to works effectively on own and part of a team.
    Produce daily work documentation, site attendance and service records using I-Pad.
    Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
    Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs.
    Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers or apprentices on best practices in HVAC maintenance.
    Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
    Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.

    Requirements

    Full UK drivers License.
    Proven mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems.
    Recognized Industry standards qualifications including F-Gas and REFCOM.
    City and Guilds refrigeration and air conditioning systems qualification.
    Ability to contact manufacturers directly for technical assistance.
    Experience in equipment repair and maintenance within the HVAC field.
    Able to pass enhanced DBS background checks for working in schools.
    Previous experience in construction environments is a must.
    Fully conversant with Mitsubishi, Daikin and Samsung.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Able to operate smart devices to complete documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    Operate from our Berkeley depot and travel in a company service van to provide on-site service and maintenance for Construction Plant and some Agricultural Equipment.
    Efficiently being able to diagnose and resolve breakdown faults in field.
    Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) in workshop to ensure equipment meets high-quality standards.
    Conduct minor repairs and refurbishments of equipment in our well-equipped workshop.
    Carry out servicing of machinery both in the workshop and out in the field.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Demonstrated experience in working on machinery, preferably in the construction plant or agricultural sector.
    A hardworking individual with a positive "can-do" attitude, always ready to take on new challenges.
    A 'self starter' being able to work independently to resolve machine failures in the field.
    Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and customers.
