    Key Responsibilities:
    Responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the accounts team to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.
    Scanning, filing and maintaining financial and administrative documents in an organised and accessible manner.
    Entering data into internal systems and spreadsheets.
    Carrying out stationery stock checks.
    Assisting with the preparation of payroll information.
    Recording and calculating staff annual leave to support payroll and reporting processes.
    Support the team with the implementation and development of new systems or processes.
    Assist with financial reconciliation, and help to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
    Retrieving and compiling financial data and reports as needed to support effective decision-making and ensure accurate record keeping
    Any other reasonable administrative tasks to support the team.
    Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:
    Good level of education in English and Maths
    Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience
    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software / applications
    Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
    Good organisational and time-management skills
    Must have an awareness of confidentiality
    Reliable and trustworthy and able to handle sensitive financial information
    Must be a team player and able to work effectively with colleagues and other departments

When she is not well, she enjoys listening to stories, watching DVDs and appreciates companionship and someone to make sure she is as comfortable as possible.
     
    You will be required to undertake duties such as assisting with personal care, medication administration, moving & handling with and without a hoist, supporting our client during prolonged myoclonus (shaking) episodes, first aid and light housework/cooking.  You will also be required to support her with her communication programme (PODD), for which training will be given.
     
    We are looking for a personal assistant who is respectful, fun, well organised and who is able to adapt to make the best of everyday, whether our client is well or not well.  Experience of working with people with learning disabilities is a must. You will need to be caring and compassionate but also resilient and able to use your initiative.

    The role of this Personal Care Assistant
    Our personal care assistants join our client’s support team, providing reliable, essential care and support in their home.  You will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and your focus will be to support them only.  This role is part-time, 20 hours per week on a Thursday and Friday. 
     
    About the Client and Duties
    Our client is a quiet gentleman who likes to stay at home.  His interests include Manchester United, gaming, reading and crime programmes.  We are looking to recruit a personal care assistant who can motivate him to do his daily chores and who will assist him around his home with general housework and cooking.  You will also accompany our client out in the community with social activities and to appointments.
     
    There is no personal care involved in this role, however you will be required to assist with personal care when needed during/after a seizure.
     
    The role and client can be challenging, so having a good understanding of mental health is important to provide proper support for his well-being.  While driving is not required, you should be comfortable around dogs, as the family has an energetic and affectionate cockapoo.  

    Knowledge of autism would also be an advantage.

    Work collaboratively with our Regional Care Team and Head Office to maintain health, safety, and compliance standards
    Undertake inductions, and supervisions for PAs in partnership with clients
    Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within expected timeframes
    Attend MDT meetings and support clients as outlined in their support plans
