The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of key projects and programmes. Key Responsibilities: Shapes and drives the stakeholder engagement strategy, ensuring the successful development and implementation of innovative business solutions for customers. Leads the project delivery team and supplier network, ensuring ownership of dependencies, milestones, and risks in line with operating model standards and delivery frameworks, while inspiring team engagement to achieve business objectives. Identifies and implements quality and efficiency improvement initiatives to enhance processes and deliver more effective, customer-focused solutions. Manages project risks by collaborating with the business and stakeholders to establish a shared understanding, ensuring risks are mitigated and customer outcomes are protected. Manages project delivery budgets and resources, driving governance to ensure objectives are met, costs are controlled, and reporting is timely and accurate. Essential Skills and Experience: ServiceNow ebonding Proven experience in driving and delivering using commercial contracts. Strong background of project management principles, methods, techniques, tools and emerging trends. Formal Programme/Project Management qualification, APM/P, Certified Project Manager and Prince 2 or equivalent. Experience in managing customer expectations and senior stake holders. Strong financial management skills including quality forecasting. Proven experience in managing staff performance and developing high performing teams. Desirable Skills: PACE, CDM and CSM. Structuring safety cases in support of projects. Formal qualifications in risk identification and assessment. This is a permanent role that can be based 2 days per week from their offices in Birmingham or Leeds. The Senior Settlements Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of financial settlements for all current and new energy schemes. This position demands strict compliance with regulatory requirements and a focus on automating manual processes.  Key responsibilities include: Settlement Operations: Manage daily settlement activities, including payments and reconciliations Approve and oversee high-value transactions, such as credit cover drawdowns and returns, in line with organisational procedures. Respond promptly and effectively to settlement-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Maintain strong controls over payment processes and notices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and settlement-related reports from the outsourced provider. Monitor settlement costs and provide forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, audit queries and filings. Review, reconcile, and transfer termination/drawdown funds to Treasury. Credit Cover and Reconciliation Management: Oversee credit cover processes, including approvals, rejections, drawdowns Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations Prepare monthly Treasury forecasts and liaise with the Analytics team. Collaborate with Treasury to manage daily and monthly cash flows Process Improvement and Automation: Assist in testing and transitioning manual reconciliations to automated ones.
