An Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) is a hugely rewarding and fulfilling role. Your main responsibility will be transporting our service users to and from their medical appointments and between healthcare facilities. This is a full-time role working 4 days out of 7 with shifts scheduled between 05:30am and 00:30am. Shifts will be on a rota. Our operational hours are between 05:30am and 00:30am, Monday to Sunday so you will need to work various shifts within these hours (with notice)

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fleet Assistant Supervisor (AFAS) to join our team based in Campbell Road, Staffordshire. Contract: Permanent/Full Time - Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts  The AFAS position will supervise the regional Automotive Fleet Assistants (AFA) ensuring full compliance of routine scheduled mechanical, ancillary equipment and vehicle deep cleans at all times. Other duties include: Allocate work schedule to AFA’s based on scheduled maintenance, VOR, reported defects and deep clean requirements. Be prepared to travel to any EMED bases to repair, service and maintain product/equipment as per the manufacturer’s guidelines as required. Carry out checks and replacements of electrical components, within EMED guidelines. Ensure tools and spare parts are always kept safely, securely and maintained. Ensure adequate supply of basic spare parts are available and maintained within the region and any defects reported as per the defect process. Work safely, ensuring Health and Safety and COSHH regulations are adhered to. Advise Fleet management team where a product cannot be successfully repaired to a safe standard. On the occasion equipment cannot be repaired on site arrange for the equipment to be returned to manufacturer or arrange for the manufacturer to attend base. Equipment that had been involved in an incident. Report this to the Fleet management team. Carry out service, inspections and repairs in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Contact/communicate with the Automotive Fleet Assistants (AFA) as and when required. Ensure all vehicles for disposal are de-kitted before collection and a log of all equipment has been taken. To be considered as an AFAS, you will need to be: Experience of repairing and servicing mechanical products. Experience of using practical and mechanical skills. Demonstrate the ability to identify improvements to processes and services. Excellent organisational and time management skills, including ability to work to tight deadlines and to act on own initiative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of people, including customers, colleagues and suppliers. Excellent attention to detail. Strong commercial appreciation of the company’s markets and industry Have a client focused, pragmatic approach and ability to think on your feet. Demonstrate a flexible approach with strong team working skills. Hold a full, current driving licence for driving in the UK.
